Chinese New Year visitation to an old folks home

All of you young people should obey your elders. In fact, everyone should be humble toward everyone else. The Scripture say, God opposes proud people, but He helps everyone who is humble.
(1 Peter 5.5)

Since Im in charge of Christian Fellowship Club activity this week and since Chinese New Year is just around the corner, I decided that we should visit the old folks home and pray for the elderly. We also collected donations for them. Our activity started with giving away angpau(s) which contains money that are collected from the CF members. I also did small notes written Wishing You A Happy And Healthy Chinese New Year and slipped them into the angpau (s). Then we went around singing worship songs and talking to the old folks. They open out to us and cried their problems out. Its sad to see that most of their only wish is to spend Chinese New Year with their kids and grandchildren.

While singing, I have no idea why I noticed this man and decided to approach him. It must be Gods will cause he started crying and telling me that he wished to see his children. I too couldnt take the pain and cried with him.

Before going home, we prayed for those who wanted to be prayed for as most of them were Buddhist.

Im glad that God was there to touch the old folks and may God continue to bless them. I would also like to encourage other Recess Revolutionist to plan activities like this as it is important for us to reach out to our community. But remember, everything we do, we give God the glory!

Recess Revolution:Penang!

Recess Revolution was first introduced in Penang during the Revolution Tour in April this year. Many schools signed up for it and they are excited about it but nothing much was really happening in Penang until Revolution Conference. Pragas brought a team down to Kuala Lumpur for the Revolution Conference last June and that was the time when God gave him the passion to really do this.
We've heard of many great testimonies happening in Subang Jaya and we wanted it to happen in Penang as well. At the last night of the conference, God gave Pragas a vision of him holding a fireball and passing it to other people. The amazing part is when he passes on the fire to someone else, the fireball in his hands grew bigger. And God make that vision come true for him because since he's been back from Kuala Lumpur, he has been entering schools almost every weekdays to share about Recess Revolution.

More students are catching the fire and they want to see a change in their school! Currently, we have 14 schools in Penang which are joining us in doing Recess Revolution in their schools. We've seen groups that started Recess Revo that are small and big in numbers but the impact they are making in their school is still massive. We've heard testimonies of students getting saved and teachers coming to know more about Jesus. Isn't that amazing?
And that's not the end of it because God is opening more doors for Pragas and his team to share about Recess Revolution in schools and we're hitting into colleges and churches as well. God is truly amazing and we're so excited about so many more things that are about to come. This is a sign of revival taking place and the young people are being a part of it.

There has been many prophecies that revival will begin in Penang and Penang is the Jerusalem, and we truly believe that it will happen one day. But it's not about Penang or any other states that will be starting the revival, it's about God's kingdom and this nation belongs to Him. We are all ONE as a body of Christ and we are ONE Malaysia. There's only ONE purpose and that is for our only ONE, Jesus Christ. So let's get ready to revolutionize our schools, campuses, workplaces and everywhere we go because revolution will only take place when we are the REVOLUTION!
